asia (ah-sya) mei, a Boston based working musician, teaching artist, composer and busy mom, is thrilled to share music from her new album Where It’s Warm live for the first time.
asia’s “grown up, artsy, piano-heavy and emotionally charged” work explores questions of identity, belonging and finding one’s place in the world—blending catchy alternative pop, vocal harmony looping and classical piano.
This is her 6th release and first in 7 years, celebrating the perseverance of the creative spirit and artistic tenacity over the grind of a working-parent life.
The choice of Piano Craft Gallery as a venue (on top of the spot-on name) provides an intimate, multi-dimensional concert experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to doodle, appreciate visual art, and walk around while they listen.
