Darian Wilson (he/him) is an educator, father, and part time trivia emcee proudly hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During the pandemic he found himself desperate to connect in a new way with his friends and family. Thus in the summer of 2020, Black People Know Things was born.

B.P.K.T is a Black Culture trivia and events company that hosts things like: game nights, movie screenings, music listening parties, dating shows, and of course trivia nights. All their events are guided by three core principles: competition, culture, and community.

While the events began online due to the pandemic, they quickly grew to a large in person audience in Denver, Colorado over the course of three years as well as many stops at universities, companies, and conventions across the country. Now residing in the Northeast, Darian is looking forward to beginning the next chapter in the B.P.K.T. Story.
