A long time veteran of the Boston Jazz scene, Kurtis is also well known for his quartet/quintet performances in intimate club settings. His current series at Levi’s Restaurant in Dorchester is a Sunday night favorite for those in the know and fans of all ages and locales have long been treated to Kurtis laying-down-the-law as the section leader of the Makanda Project.
